It is starting to feel as if I am resident in an alien virus inverse.
Frightening..
The beach opened in Delray.
The water so mild and clean felt like a bath.
I gratefully float and dip.
Distancing myself
from the other bathers....
When I leave
I know this beautiful ocean will soon muddy up
with human waste and plastic.
Finding balance
I need to lower the emotional noise in my head
A drumbeat by now!
Breathe
Think
And mostly use my faith in love and magic to still myself.
A at a deserted nature reserve
Insects biting
Sun low.
Please,
Corona virus
Go
Go
go
We need light
It dark
Fact not fear-fueled fantasy
And a large dollar of hope with our
Hand sanitizer

Good day
I have writers c ramp

Not sure whether I should laugh or cry at that. I opted to laugh, you know, because it's not me dealing with it. *Laugh*

Seriously, though that really sucks! Good luck getting through it all! And in case I forgot to tell you previously, WELCOME TO WdC! *Heart*

Lately
In a sweet Florida winter
I feel a season of inner brittleness .
Maybe words help.

Happy 1 year anniversary! You are officially no longer a newbie! *Bigsmile*
Some joy
Some sadness
Life
Loss
And
More to come
Jingle
It was grey at seven
Blue at eight
Rain threatens
Snow birds flutter
The pool
Is warm and sun kind

In New York
The first snow came as a welcome warning of winter.
Coats on
Lights bright and the music goes on........
I love winter in my new home.
I miss the drama of New York winters
But my old bones appreciate the Florida sun.

"...the drama of NY winters." lol Yeah, I'm sure your bones do appreciate the Florida sun!

Funny thing for me--When I lived in Alaska, I was in a very dry area in the interior. Then I moved to Hawaii where everything is damp and molds quickly. I was very surprised to find I was in more pain in HI because of the damp than AK because of the cold. Weird. Now I'm in North Carolina where I get both. *Pthb* Yeah, I don't plan on being here next winter. *Wink*

Enjoy your warm winter! *Laugh*
Reading TS Eliot
Who else inspired as well for you?
Despite the gloomy subject matter
His words and images kept into the soul ..

TS Eliot
Hollow Men
The anguish of war.
Cats
The anthropomorphic
Play on people.
The Wasteland
The geography of age .
“Counting life in coffee spoons “
But still counting
It's the reason all my cats have had three names. One of which I don't know, of course.
I found the fall in Florida
In small shifts of air and light.
Unlike a dramatic Eastern winter,
The shifts are like clouds
Sun and light
There
But subtly changing.
