Hello Everyone,

I am a newbie here from India (I hope you guys are familiar with my country). I am very excited to start my journey in writing and hoping to get your invaluable support and motivation along the way. I was specifically looking for a real time interactive forum like this as i feel it gives you the opportunity to engage with people of common goal. To start with, would you guys please suggest me a topic that i should try my hands on (please keep in mind that I am novice and have no writing background). Thank you!

That's motivating. Thank you :) However, i am planning to start writing short story or something about my life experience. Ill circulate that to you.. if you manage to get some free time, do send me your views. It will help me to be better :) I am impressed that you are writing a novel - All the very best :) Im sure it will be interesting!
Every November is NaNo. It's a world-wide event. The challenge is to write 50k words for a novel. Your novel isn't expected to be complete in November, it's just to get you started. *Wink* There are prizes if you "win" (get 50k words)--nothing super amazing, but still, it's nice.
