This story is currently quite short, so it's hard to get a good impression of it. You, as the author, should try to augment at least the first few chapters to help guide the story in the way you want it to go. I think that this story could be good, but as it stands I just can't tell. Write a chapter or two in your own story! I've had to do that quite a bit...
