I enjoyed reading this, almost as much as I enjoy cursing! Yes, I am a potty mouth. For me, it's a mark of my heritage. Growing up in a dirt poor Irish family has taught me how to curse right along with the best of them. It's just natural for me. I do, however, see the point that the author is making. Although my vernacular is laced with profanities, my written word isn't. There is a certain craft to building the same tensions while refraining from using vulgarities. The only instance in which I use profanities is if it is "in character".
