Intreasting topic, and for an imformatative essay it was very well written. I don't care much for essays though, and often get bored reading them. This however has a lot of good points and brings out the topic over and over and doesn't stray from the main idea. Overall, good read and keep on writing!
Honestly, I wish you would have said what the sound actually ended up being at the end, like Ms. Taylor playing a trick on him or something. UNless it actually was the dishwasher or his head playing tricks on him. Good story none the less, and I hope that you keep writing.
Amusing! I like the point it brings out, we are all human, but do we actually have to eat our own flesh or others to be considered human? Of course not! It just proves that the syaing "you are want you eat" can't be held to say something good or bad about you. Keep writing more things like this!
An amusing short story that really makes me appreciate that I don't live in the Everglades! I love the bond between the two friends. Even though they have their differences, they put up with other, and are still friends. I found a typo (at least I think it was a typo) When Karen says it"ll be different from what I'm use to. I think you might want to change that to used to be...but other then that it was good. Lots of laughs.
That's an amazing point of view. I like the prespective, and I like that it makes you think. It's a little sad, but that's what makes it really good. Keep on writing.
