Beautiful! How true; 'We didn't know...'
'Now pictures flood back', the images that come back after all this time and impress upon us how little we appreciated the moments, how blind, how so foolishly restricted we were by a false sense of keeping up one's guard, how undiscerning of the worth of burgeoning male bonding. It is only now that we realise we could have made so much more of the moments. Yet the memories are great and we savour them!
