It really exceeded expectations! Right away, I felt like I was part of the characters' stories - the author does a wonderful job of creating a vivid and exciting world full of magic and adventure. The plot is intriguing and complex, but never frustratingly confusing. I also felt like the author did a great job of keeping a consistent holiday theme throughout with references to both Christmas and New Year's traditions. The writing was also superb - it was interesting and descriptive without being overly long-winded. Overall, I was absolutely blown away by this fanfiction and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great holiday story. Five stars!
