This is really good. However, "as of ivy and vines" seems slightly negative, as those are not usually regarded as pleasent plants. Watch the pacing for an easier read, maybe mess around with the syllables. I get the impression of a passionate love, that would be difficult to break. You make it personal through the descriptions which is good. The thing with 'love' literature is that it's EXTREMELY cliche, it's all about making the personal experience known, and characters.

Just some thoughts.
