Aww! What a sweet story! Freddy sounds like a wonderful guy and so does Jared. This is really a great Christmas story. It shows the true spirit of Christmas in a very real way.
Today in church the pastor talked about Jesus washing His disciples' feet before the Passover feast. Then he said that we need to be footwashers, just like Jesus. You seem like a good example of a footwasher. I hope I can become one too.
This poll made me think. If I met Jesus on the street corner I probably wouldn't recognize him at a glance. Then I'd look closer and realize it was him. So my first remark would be "Do I know you from somewhere?" and my second would be, "Jesus! It's you!" Then I imagine that he would smile and invite me to walk with him for a while. I have no idea what we would talk about but when we got where we were going I have a feeling I would feel calmer and more at peace. I'd like to meet Jesus on the street corner. Peace and God bless,
