interesting subject! Well done. I think you could expand this a little more. How did it make him feel to work on his son? how did his wife feel when looking upon her son for the first time since his death? Did the cold stop or slow decomposition? What where some of the things he had to do to preserve his son? doing some research on taxidermy and mummification presagers would help you to describe it better. I had to do a lot of research on nuclear war before writing my prologue for my novel Helix. even then I got some details wrong, getting advice from someone who new more about it then me I can fix it. I love this but it would be better if you could expand upon it some more. This would make a fantastic short story.
