This poem is sharp, succinct, and speaks clearly of the experience of having depression completely drain you of autonomy. The imagery is evocative and strong. This is work to leave a mark and is worthy of pride and acknowledgment. I hope you were able to pull your pieces back together. I hear someone else telling a familiar story. I hope you are well and that you keep writing.
