I really enjoyed the duality of this story! You're able to successfully mesh such a positive thing (prom) with such a negative thing...and it works! I also really liked your descriptions, specifically of the plant's toxins and its destruction! Very well done!

Keep up the great work!

Awesome! Amazing imagery and feeling. You managed to weave both the horrible and the beautiful together in this story. Quite a change from the typical post-apocalyptic story. Well done!!!
