Wonderful premise for a poem. And what you have, great. The only suggestion I have, GO ALL OUT!! This poem, I believe, has potential to say even more. I like the example you used of your childhood. See if you can think of other ways to incorporate examples such as these. Im jealous of your first stanza. I wish it was my own! haha. I thought it was great. Keep up the great work!

Simple, yet elegant. A simple experience but a beautiful way of expressing it. I enjoyed this. It brought with it vivid pictures to mind. I think that, by itself, constitutes good writing. Well done.
