This is beautiful. Very well written. I can totally relate to this. I have been fortunate enough to have three such friends that have stuck with me through thick and thin. That lend their shoulders to me whenever needed. I would move mountains for them. They, in their own ways, have helped to shape who I am today. I love what you have written...very relatable. Aww...What a sweet perspective on the ghostly phone call. This was well written...good flow and kept me interested. Somehow, a sad story...ended up with a morbidly happy ending...if that makes sense. Good job!!
