this is the only story i've read on here that's wrote in the second person, (but i've not been here long)

it's a very gripping read, with a decent and unexpected ending to boot :)

although, you did break the second person, and thus, destroy the atmoshere with this:

"so it’d be a little silly to try and describe the changes (if there were any) in your surroundings thanks to whatever it was that had happened."

a good story!
