Very touching! I love the way you went back and forth with the past and reality. I also love the metaphors you used for the mountains and how Jeff saw them. In the beginning - it took me a moment to realize that you were going back and forth, but when I got it - it made the story even more interesting. For some reason, I thought that maybe Jeff was gonna be the one to meet with an accident. To be honest, I am not totally sure if maybe it was Jeff (smile). You write very well!!
