Review of DreamSong
Review by B.L. Houghtalin
Rated: E | (4.5)
This poem is a very interesting one indeed. I especially liked how the space between dreams and reality, is metaphored as ocean occurences, such as waves, shores, lighthouses, distant winds, and austered sails. I connected with this poem for that very reason. I too find the dreamworld to be a place of irreversible wind, waves, and tumult! Write on and on and on and on!

Review of Baby's Song
Review by B.L. Houghtalin
Rated: E | (3.0)
I liked the premise of this poem, and also the parameter. The only criticism I have is that the baby in the womb, in my opinion, would not have thoughts of "Noisy streets" or "Sweet smelling flowers" . The thoughts might consist of something other than the outside world. But all in all, a touching poem.

Review of Spirits Freed
Review by B.L. Houghtalin
Rated: E | (4.5)
This poem is one of the best I've come across in awhile. Each line was relevant, as the work seemed to have no space filler. Free spirits are a part of every one's life, whether thay are one or not. Very nice job on not adding to much to the poem, so as not to take away from the message. Write on and on and on and on.

Review of Desolate Spirit
Review by B.L. Houghtalin
Rated: E | (4.0)
I felt inspired while reading this poem, because I have experienced the same emotions expressed in this work. Also, with the right musical influences, this poem could easily be converted into song lyrics. Good Job. Write on and on and on and on.

Review of The Drown
Review by B.L. Houghtalin
Rated: E | (4.0)
I liked this poem very much. It seemed to me that "the drown" was a metaphor for something bigger, perhaps the ocean represents the ups and downs of life. And "the drown" represents reaching a low point and realizing it is time to rise back up from the bottom of life. Write on and on and on and on

Review of Distracted

I enjoyed this poem and could relate to what the words were referring to. This poem describes every day life, but in a way that is interesting to readers.

Write on. B.L. Unity
