I like to keep the format clean and easy to read. How I'll specifically break down your story is a detail that I'm currently reworking, however.
I'm good at...
Most familiar with these genres: romance, YA, fantasy, mystery I focus most heavily on character development, subtly in details, flow, overall composition/structure, diction, and syntax.

I absolutely love Disney, so this made me a little sad. But how you executed the story and what happened and why, well... it was just so good! *Smile* A wonderful little tale, and sadly, informative of the nature of modern-day society. Divorces are so rough..... I definitely felt swung to the side of Beast. Poor guy.

This sentence here:

It became uncomfortably quiet in the glass-walled conference room on the thirty-seventh floor of the downtown high rise.

I felt it was just a tad too long - overbearing.

I also thought the word 'can't' should have been 'couldn't', but in the context of the sentence, it really boiled down to what you as the author was trying to say.

I really liked it, overall. Great job!

Timeless. How many movies have caught such a comedic scene on tape? You just caught it on paper.

Very simple (obviously, I'm sure, because of a word count limit), but the simplicity works with the moment.

'When' I think is a great way to start this piece.
