Very funny ending. You hit the stereotype on the head of working-class (making ends meet or not) betting too much on the lottery with little hope of ever winning. The psychic line was dead on with the group, too. Maybe he should have an "as see on TV for $19.95" lottery number generator as something displaced in his minitornadoes of searching.
