I like this poem quite a bit...
It reminds me of some old biblical verses that I studied back in school. I translated the hebrew bible from aramaeic to hebrew to english for one f my finals, and I got a whole new meaning out of what I thought the bible was.
It emphasizes the cycle of life... circle of life.. yin and yang... what ever you believe or want to call it. It is universal and in all things all religions.

I love it, it reminds me of the pirates of the carribean song... the one from the ride, not the movie...
Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me...
Except a little raunchier, a little dirtier with some hidden inuendos in there.
