Excellent, but not exceptional, nor is it genius, but the writer themselves could be all those things; however this particular piece is simply excellent. Certainly an A in any English class; visually profound and symbolically subliminal, it is at times, perhaps, laid on a touch too heavy. Big thumbs up for form savvy and line breaks to emphasize punch and juxtaposition of the images within... Figure out how to eliminate the word 'phlegmatic' its pentameter sucks and is hard to lead in with but kudos for trying. I wouldn't have had the balls.
