Review of Green Thumb
Review by Miles
Rated: 13+ | (5.0)
For those who are interested in vore-related topics, you will find Green Thumb to be a rather unique (being the only story of its kind to my knowledge on the whole site) yet somewhat amaturely written short story. The lack of profession sheen to the story is due to a decent frequency of spelling and grammatical errors and some rather cliche lines, which do detract from the story, but don't quite spoil it. All readers other than the target demographic for the story may be turned off of this story, though, due to scenes which others may find upsetting. For what the story is, it does its job very well- especially so for me since it caters to my tastes of the genre so well.

With an opening that a little bit more than resembles the trailer for Super 8 (although this story was written before Super 8 was revealed), the story itself is a bit intriguing with many unanswered questions (particularially about the plant monster, which is the character the story truly centers upon yet also plays as the main antagonist to Roger, who could be also considered the protagonist. Unsettlingly enough, the plant, which appears to either be a genetic experiment by the government, developes a personality of sorts as the story progresses, visible beyond its primal instincts, making it seem humanly devious, lustful, and even take enjoyment from leisuring around on an armchair- giving the latter passages of the story an almost surreal feeling to it.

I would love to get a sequel from the writer (Matt) and see the plant's character develop and expand along with its stomach and appetite.

Review of PokeChange
Review by Miles
Rated: 13+ | (4.0)
It's like the "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" video games, except without the tedious dungeon crawling and, unlike in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon Trainers! Instead of being stuck in a world inhapited only by Pokemon, you are in the same world as in Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Platinum, etc. If you're a fan of the Pokemon series, you've probally thought about what the Pokemon would be saying to each other during battles, such as taunts, what they think about their trainers, like whether they should run off or not, and even what if feels like inside a Pokeball.

I was not able to read through every option, but I believe I have a grasp on the ideas and concept of what they would all be like. You will notice from the start that, unlike in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, you have free choice on what Pokemon you will become, and not have to try a personality quiz over and over again trying to be able to play as a Mudkip.

Pokemon fanfictions are probally the ones with the most possibilities, having the most "characters" so to say than any other series out there. I think around 493, so more possibilities are open.

However, like most other interactive stories here, where multiple writers are involved, the quality of writing seems to change from page to page, with spelling mistakes more prominant of some pages more than others. To sum up, PokeChange is a solid piece of work with many possibilities to choose from, if slightly inconsistant when it comes to the quality of the writing, which isn't much of a problem in this case for I have seen it much worse in other works. From what I have seen, it is also totally kid appropriate. Insightful to fans, descriptive in both feeling, and sight, if not so much sound as far I my experience with this interactive goes, and with many possibilities, I'm sure almost every Pokemon fan will find one of their favories featured here.
