Nice flow! I'm really picky, but seems like the third stanza could use a few word changes to keep the flow just right. Maybe "...self destructive fire" could be put up against "desire". I hate when people change my poems, but some like the advice. I DO love this, though. It can work on so many levels in a relationship. Just curious, but do you write music to go along with your lyrics? Bet it sounds great if you do! If not, maybe you should find someone to do that. Good luck!
