I am no expert, but I think I can help you make a little better sense of “Adam’s Apple.”

I don’t think there is any significance whatsoever to the apple; it’s just a representation of the fruit, perhaps to add an element of familiarity for children learning the story for the first time.

God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit, but He also commanded them to have children. It was actually necessary to disobey one in order to obey the other. This suggests God wanted the original sin to take place (I don’t know why He did, but I can think of a few possibilities, and since He’s omniscient I won’t question His logic). But the original sin was not eating the fruit, it was disobeying God. God wants us to acquire knowledge to separate good from bad. He wants us to acquire knowledge, integrity, and wisdom, and he will reward us for doing so (and having value and self-worth is its own reward anyway). Knowing good from bad will make life more challenging, but also more worth-while. It’s true that sin cannot be committed in ignorance, but ignorance is only as blissful as stupidity, little-mindedness, and worthlessness.

Adam and Eve could not have hurt one another, because there was no pain, sorrow, or death in the Garden of Eden.

God doesn’t want us to be naked in front of people; everything in the scriptures says we shouldn’t be naked in front of people.

I think it's good that your asking these questions, it suggests that you will eventually find what side of the line you want to be on.
