"The Looking Glass Library

Overall:

As a qualified disability support worker and a sister of three souls who are challenged. I want to say that the group you have provided is a great idea. Both my sisters, have disabilities, Downs Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy, my nephew also is legally blind, deaf and intellectually challenged.

They all are artistic in their own ways and have won some awards for their art work here in Australia. I could not be more proud of them, they are going from strength to strength. Over the years, I have watched, witnessed and felt the changes going through society and the level of acceptance that the world is coming to makes me proud.

Though their are still souls around that are prejudiced in their views that these souls are second class citizens. For which they are not! It is only through caring souls such as yourself and your group that attitudes will change. Granted it will take time, but it will happen, we or at least I need to believe that it will.

Thankyou for being their within WDC and providing the assistance that is needed.

"RAOK Upgrade Brigade Group

Overall feelings:

RAOK has to be one of the largest groups within WDC that provides upgrades to members of WDC as a whole. It is the umbrella group from which other assistance groups have sprung; in my opinion. All the work that the members provide is highly valuable and will never be short of souls requiring some sort of assistance.

My thanks goes out to the support forum and its many members for all their work not just RAOK.

I have taken the liberty of placing this item onto my plug page and within the pages of my Learning Tree.

"Writing.Com - Encouragement

Overall feelings:

As I have added these C -notes to my plug page I feel that it is only fair that everything on my plug page be at least reviewed and used by myself at some time or other.

Your collection of c-notes are uniquely WDC's and I have seen them used on occasion and I feel they are an extra added bonus when they come form the SM collection themselves.

They are reasonably priced and convey the feeling of friendship which WDC promotes. Thank-you for providing them to all of the members of WDC.

"Writing.Com Family Tree

Overall feelings:

What a wonderful little discovery this has been for me. I've added my little piece to the forum and sent out my adoption notices. This is a wonderful idea and a great encouragement to writers to show other members how much they care for others as they get to know them.

I am also adding this to my plug page and it is going onto the top of the page. Then I will be contacting a few friends and asking them to do the same.
That is how great I feel this item is. *Bigsmile*

Keep coming up with these wonderful ideas and keep writing and smiling.

Hello Jax: Not here. *Bigsmile* <=] ** ~~> dropping by your port.

*Laugh* I was directed here by Pia Veleno and OMG, she was absolutely correct. This was an incredibly good read and would make a wonderful collection of bumper stickers for WDC. *Wink*

I'm adding this my book "Invalid Item under members choices of enjoyable reads. *Bigsmile*

Which will also allow me to come back and have a chuckle.

Hello The StoryMaster *Bigsmile* <=] ** ~~> here!

Wow, found this whilst skirting the pages in WDC for "Invalid Item & its learning tree page. Now this was one place that I knew was around. But had not had the need to actually go and look for.

This is a great page and readily accessible to all users if they were more aware of it. Hence the addition to the book. *Smile*

I did read the comments and replies and they are dealt with in a quick manner. Well done. It is good to see that any issues that may arise are dealt with rapidly.

Keep up the excellent work with WDC.

Hello <=] ** ~~> here. *Smile*

If it had not been for the link from "Invalid Item I would never stumbled across this item. Plus others that have been linked from the above item.

Personally I agree with your view. If you can rely on your own strengths in reviewing do so. Don't write about what you do not know or understand. It only makes you look bad as a reviewer. This would also apply as a writer.

I like the template idea and for some it is really hard to find a template that agrees with them. One that is not too long, yet helpful to the writer. My suggestion would be to go into the public review forum and read some of the reviews there. Noting the formatting style others have used and slowly making one up that you can adapt to your own personal requirements. *Smile* I feel here you could have added a link or a small concise direction to where the WritingML can be found.

As you will have no doubt noticed. I don't as yet use a template. But in time I will make one up that I am comfortable with. It is through reading work like yours that I am learning and gathering the ideas I wish to use on my own template. I do also look into the public review area as well. *Wink* It is not only educational, but you find some rather interesting comments and reading material within there as well.

Thank-you for writing this and know that I have taken notes. *Bigsmile*

Hello <=] ** ~~> here. *Smile*

I want to say that I followed the links from intuey GoT Survivor! 's "Invalid Item to here. All on the learning process. *Smile*

The path is long and is taking me to many ports. But it is a path that I wish to take. All for the betterment of my own reviewing skills.

What you have here is educational and assists with establishing good reviewing skills. A lot of people do not put a lot of credence into their ability of writing a review. So that is where items such as this educate them and in turn the establish a firmer knowledge of what is expected of them and what their own abilities are.

Feelings are such a big part of writing and they really do need to be taken into account. Not only as a writer, but as a reviewer. You can still tell someone that you did not enjoy their work without being rude and still offer them encouragement. In doing so you are saying and admitting that "yes" your views are different from those of the writer. But it also shows that you are acknowledging them for their individuality and possibly being inspired by them.

Writing is like giving birth to a baby and with each word, you give a little of yourself and your own feelings. You do not need them to be overly bruised. But you do need to have them acknowledged and you do need to know what feelings were evoked by the writer.

If the writer/reviewer comes across as "Bitchy" that is to up to the individual to decide. As you have stated "Love it, hate it, ignore it. I don't care but if you ignore it when reviewing my work, I will ignore your review." Rings very true.

Thank-you for being so forth right on your reviewing thoughts and feelings and they are acknowledged from this end.

However, and I do so hate pointing these things out. There are a couple of wee typos. One is at the opening of the piece. I think it was meant to be a writing ML, that did not work out. It looks like this:
=0). Then a little further down the page there is another that is similar. Where you say that you are a rebel. *Smile* There are a few further down the page as well that you may or may not wish to look at, during some point. *Smile*

Has very nice collection of C-Notes, that are imaginative and reasonably priced. Covering a variety of tastes and genres. Some come with their own words of inspiration and some are left for the purchaser to determine the words that they wish to convey.
