I very much like your style of writing! Your descriptions draw a clear image, especially of "Her" ( i just realized you didn't give her a name and i like it that way). I don't know how to put it any better: the story is haunting. I'm sure I won't be the only reader who will say your writing made them feel Drake's pain clearly, sharply, cruelly. A very bittersweet story: he got to have her but not to keep her.

I just read your biography and you seem like a woman after my own heart! I look forward to reading more :)
