I enjoyed your story about your first impressions during your year in the US. The story is both compelling and humorous. I think if you wanted to publish it you would need to tidy up a bit. Many typos, and if I'm honest, rather fragmented. There is a real story to be told there though and I think you should poliosh it up a bit. I realise that English is not your first language, and the tenses are not always consistent, but it is an excellent read.
