So well written, bringing the awesome indignity to a very heightened result. From the beginning, I had a strong feeling of who the monster was. Having written several pieces in this vein, I know the fear and impassioned please which accompany. The last two lines are the definite clincher, bringing you into the picture in a fear laden, impassioned cry.

Beautifully written, with perfect (and unique) wording. Pictures perfectly drawn with the ease which love can provide, and the anguish which it leaves behind. The composition draws from true emotion, beginning to end, with a perfect story line totally encompassed by the sweet and tart ending.

Fascinating pieces of information,and very comprehensive, astute questions. Have you ever read The Little House books? They are fabulous, with history and real life family recounting. Besides that, they are written in such a manner that this old bereft mind can fathom (lol)!
