That was a beautiful poem. Indeed a tragic day and one I'll never forget. So many lives were lost that day and most of the people that died didnt even know what happened. I like your rhyme scheme, it helped with the flow of the poem, but this is a sad poem and I usually associate rhyming with something a little more cheery :), but maybe thats just me.
Your 4th verse was very powerful, it's such a small one, but I can really feel the panic of that day, and the sadness, even in that one paragraph. Nicely done!
