I loved poetry in high school, but the last year of school really put me off from reading and writing it as much of the poetry I came in contact with bored me to death. Your poem reminds me of what I LIKED about poems, being able to change my mood-in a good way-.It's short and sweet and is like drops of honey on my lips when I read each line out loud. Now I know it's meant to be a poem for kids...but I like it, it puts a smile on my face and I can really feel the energy in every line. If I can give any advice it's this, keep at it and always be sure to add a proper dash of fun in your poems.
