I think this is a great story, and I believe that you might be able to make it into a book by adding an afterstory as well. What I liked the most about your short story is that you were able to portray each and every character very uniquely. I also liked your word choice and descriptions, which made your work come alive. Most of all, though, I reckon that many people will be able to enjoy your story because they can really relate to it. Great work! My favourite character is Fred Ryan, by the way. :)
