You kind of just re-stated the actual events in the Bible. Poetry, like any art, is supposed to reflect something about the author and/or humanity that has hitherto been unexplored or unperceived in the way the author has perceived them. However, it should at the very least evoke some kind of emotion. Unfortunately for me, this accomplished none of these things for me. But keep writing, practice makes perfect right?
