Hi, I was thinking about the content and the tone of your poem and I found that reading it through left me with an uncertain feeling. One that implied there was either something missing or too much. I noticed that you seem to rationalize your emotions from line 7 -10, then the tone seems to jump back to its original form. I think this undermines what is, apart from that, a good piece of writing. It reminds me of another poem on the same subject though I cant quite remember who the author is, I'll get back on that one.
