I decided to read this short piece because I like reading about other people's dreams, and I'm glad I did.
Dreams are crazy and unpredictable and you managed to build up the tension and suspense well, as well as the crazy dream atmosphere .
At the beginning it seemed like just another teen fantasy, and then gradually it became crazier and crazier until it escalated to my favorite part with the critters oozing out of your leg. I liked how you kept switching scenery and adding characters - it made it feel like a real dream.
As I read I had a few small suggestions/comments:
- Chris got comfortable on the leather couch (maybe: made himself)
- I had one of the longest, most vivid, and certainly, the strangest dream (dreams) of my life.
- "I see. Now, tell me (describe) the dream (in) as much (detail) as you can remember and from the start."
- approached slowly without trying to avoid me (and kept driving right at me?)
- The car backed up, and would have hit me had it not stopped inches away (stopping only inches away before it hit me)
