Romance is a reflective scene about a young man waiting for his young woman as she gets ready for their first date.
The man and the woman remain unnamed but that doesn't seem to be the purpose here. anyone can read this and put themself along with someone close in place of the the main characters and experience a warm fuzzy feeling inside. I found this piece a guaranteed smile.
This is an awesome reflection about lost things, found things, and compressed time.
I was drawn directly into this piece of reflection. i've had moments myself where i can remember every little thing that happened in a small spance of time, but then there are times when i can't remember what happened over an entire month.
Most times are related to another marked point in time, ie: during school, but those that aren't related to anything and just seem to happen... they still happen. Those times that seem to float on for eternity and are some of the happiest moments in my live don't always get remembered for what they are... just a single solitary moment gets to linger on to be regailed later in life.
But to find a piece of our own history, that brings back all of the sights, smells, sounds, and even thoughts, seems a once in a lifetime deal. Funny that it'll happen more often than we think... Memories come flooding back, things we had forgotten... never lost, but right where we left them.

Anthony is a teenage boy who seems to want nothing more than to not talk about his feelings or what happens to him in his daily life.
My first thought was that I was about to read a story about Anthony Soprano in his shrink's office.
There seems to be many holes in the linear flow of the story. Anthony is sitting, staring at a painting, then he's suddenly standing and staring at the couch after he's seemingly walked into the room.
I would like to know more about what is going on in Anthony's mind. Why does he just ask for the meds? Why does he decide to never come back? Why does he lie about where he obtained his injuries?
This is a very good start and I look forward to seeing more about it. Thank you for sharing this piece with us all.
Dr. William Flagg gives his interpretation of a poem found with one of Lisa Lansing's journals.
The poem is very fierce, yet quite loving. It does wonderfully at portraying the author as caring, as well as violent.
The metaphorical interpretation given by Flagg is very well written and quite believable.
I think I would like to see another interpretation of this poem given by an opposite thinking mind to help give the reader more insight into the frustration of trying to find Lisa and what happened to her.

awesome! when i read the item type as "web page" i was a little intrigued in what i was about to see and read. links and images where what i expected, not a beautiful poem about a bloody inquisition.
Taken and strung up for trying to help the neighbors with fresh herbs and tinctures - a witch-doctor in the end. Forever to be foresaken!
Summary- Eirelav is restoring past history records.
-the record: the tallest towers in the City of Towers have been felled by terrorist attack using homeland aircraft. the President calls the people to arms and declares retribution against those who attacked. he travels to the City of Towers and addresses the workers and rescuers at "ground zero". his words are accepted and with the people's approval there is "a call to arms".
Plot- the plot worked. the title of the chapter is "A Call to Arms" and that is what is delivered. there are two seperate calls - one is to the government officials and the second is to the people of Acirema.
-the flow was steady the the pace is even.
-the only thing I felt missing would be an afterthought by Eirelav about the event itself since that is what appears to interest her the most.
Description- there is plenty of description given throughout the chapter. the landscape between the capital and the City of Towers was laid out in words. colors streamed between each letter. at "ground zero" the destruction was emmense with sensory detail. tho, I did want more into how the smoke weighed on the scene. surroundings were made pretty clear in description. the President was unstood - wanted more of his internal thoughts. Eirelav is a vague character. hopefully more info into her is in previous chapters.
Dialogue- dialogue was sparse, but this chapter seems more about the visual of what has happened and what is to be done. what dialogue there is, is a good addition and works well with the rest of the chapter.
I would continue reading this story... I am interested in Eirelav's world and her take on the events that led up to WW3.
at first, i did groan at the subject matter - 9/11. but after reading this chapter a few times i understand a little more about why. thank you for sharing your writing and thoughts.
