First, I loved this!
         "Stored on pains upper shelf," this, for some reason made me think of The Skin Horse in The Velveteen Rabbit.
Long forgotten, dusty, upon a shelf full of memories, but something Real and Alive despite its age and appearance/condition?
         This is my very first review and I'm not sure that made any sense but that is where your powerful imagery took me.
         This is so raw and a great piece of writing because of its autonomy and its commanding tone.
         Bravo!
         I started to lose the rhythm of the piece in the penultimate line but that last line brought it right back.
