Wow. Amen. You made a good connection between the dog's love for the chasing, not the catching, and your own chasing. Cling to your dreams, but don't let them dominate your life. I've been busy with my volunteer work lately, and I now realize maybe I'd better spend some time with my mom and little brother. You know, when you think about it, each moment in our lives took eons to get here, only to disappear forever once they happened. You're right on this one.
Well, this work has taught me a fine lesson. It has taught me that sometimes, it's your responsibility to do something simply because you have the power to do something. I was also very impressed with the dialogues between your characters, and the flow time uses in the story. I wish I could write like this!
