I enjoyed reading every single word of this piece. It was enlightening to read, especially since I live in New York city, where there is so much hustle and busy. Your words carry truth and a much needed recognition because spirituality is highly difficult to seek when we have our eyes elsewhere. However, many people follow the cliché, “live in the moment.” The phrase has a beautiful message, but I think overtime the message became distorted through alterations. Today people focus on the “now” rather than the sum of all the “now”s. As a result, people wonder what will make them happy or content at that moment, rather than mull over what will have a lasting positive effect in their lives.

Review of Attempting the We

Wow I can read this over and over again. i enjoyed read this piece. The distinction between the pronouns created a moving effect, especially in the last stanza, where you bring back the "You" "Me" and "We" as completely asymmetrical to the first stanza. I also like how dramatic the description is of the connection is of the two people attempting to become one-- it emits some mystery and curiosity to what is laid out for them. Great work!
