I think this scene has enormous potential. The strength of their living relationship is evident even after Marli's death. And her determination to stay with Kerk shows it. I know I would feel the same in that situation. Anyone who has been in love, especially with someone they consider their true love, sees it as eternal. I would probably haunt my fiance too if something happened. The supernatural twist to this story adds an element of interest. I think a little more information about Evangelica would suffice here. She just barges in on them. How does she know where they live? Was she following them before? Does she have a different tie to the spiritual world that she hasn't mentioned? I am interested to know what happens next and if Marli ever decides to cross over. Good work here.
