I like the story. It was easy to read and with only one grammatical error, actually just an ommission of the word "he" , "I didn't know left it to me" is how it reads now. I didn't gather too much hidden meaning in the story, although I sense it is there, underlying the whole plot. Like an inside joke to yourself of someone you know. Maybe a dream? I know I would love to have that sort of thing happen to me, although losing someone is tough, even though she doesn't care at all.
