Whew! No wonder Peter Marlowe had difficulty explaining things to a boy aged 9 going on 90. Would a nine year old really have such a sense of futility? I would hope not. I would hope Timmy would see some sense to life and the potential of his young existence. We of course wouldn't know he background and the reason for his sheer negativity. Nice little story.
