This was certainly an interesting read. The story is quite endearing, and the narrator had an enjoyable sort of snark. I quite liked their overall tone throughout the piece.
One thing, however, that pulled me away, were the grammatical errors. These were mostly in the way of punctuation and the like, and arguably a lot of them didn't count, but it made the entire piece feel sort of... lumpy, even if said lumps weren't caused by issues of grammar. The entire thing would do amazingly if it read a little more smoothly.
Even then, it was delightful and ended on a very sweet note. I did enjoy the whole thing!
