I can relate with this poem. I just lost my uncle, and memories make me sad. The torture is unbearable sometimes, and it's difficult to endure. We have no choice but to move on and to see
life in different side...

I like how you compared your emotions to sleeping dogs. How difficult to feel isolated and alone. I can imagine the hardship, and the sorrows of the speaker.
