Wow, what a story. This had me glued to my chair leaning closer to the computer screen and wanting to know what happened. Your descriptions of the scenes were vivid and visual images. I could see the trees, and hear the skeeters buzzing about his face. Simply incredible and wonderfully well written. Sweet Musings

Wow, nicely done. I love the way you are using all five senses and the verbal images you are creating. Although I am a little confused about the part where you say the French wiped New York out and that Paris was hit too. I haven't read the rest of your chapters so you may explain this in later on. You have a great start. A good hook to pull your reader in and keep their attention with the battle scene action. Its very well written and the dream sequences are just enough to give the reader a taste but still not understand exactly what is going on. Very well done and I eagerly await the rest of it.
