We do tip well, anywhere from twenty percent or more. Being that I was once a server and my wife is a chef. We tend to do what we can. That being said, I do not think you are very informed as to how this has come about and how your anger and frustration is quite mis-directed, although understood. It is not our job to pay your salary. It is the company you work for. The place you work, has let you down. Not the customer. The greed of the company you work for has dumped the responsibility on us the consumer. Way before any of our times, the buisness owners saw that the servers were being given extra by the customers. Their greed made them drop the amount they pay servers. You should be angry, furious in fact. But not at the customer who came to eat, they are not your employers. You are taking something that comes from kindness and appreciation and turning it into something that is owed to you. I am sorry life is not always fair to you come pay day, but you made your choice when you applied for and accepted this position.

This is an awsome little nook...I was wondering recently, if there was a resource for all the different styles. Thanks for sharing. People love to tell you what style they wrote it in, but not always so quick to give an explaination.

This should be a link that all new writers should be led to.
