Someone is in love. It's amazing what that can do for a creative mind-propelling it to generate art. Or, for an uncreative mind, to inspire creativity. I enjoyed what you wrote, simply because I can relate. Simply put, the words you chose captured general feeling one might have whn in a similar position, thus making it very universal.
Really, I'm surprised you wrote an effective story with such tight parameters. You not only fulfilled the "rules" provided but you also wrote a short tale that was pretty interesting and functional.
If I were to have a criticism of it, though, it read mildly generic.
Overall, good work, I'd say!
