Review of The Stolen Mirror

This story is interesting. I like how it's just all reasoning why you took the mirror and that it's special to you and then it's also all reasoning why you probably shouldn't have taken it and that you feel bad for taking it so you plan on going back to chit chat with them.

Review of Mowed Lawn

I really like this view on something so simple. Like death not being what we all think of it as, we are constantly surrounded by death. Be it be, plants, people, pets, it surrounds us. I'm not sure if that's exactly what you were going for but that's what I got from it and it is really inspiring to me. I like how you think and how you write. Keep up the good work!

Review of The Eyes of Death

Okay, I like the main idea of this story. BUT- yes but, I feel like it didn't flow and it was kind of confusing for me to read. Maybe, keep re-writing with the same idea until you feel and everyone else feels like it flows correctly. I feel like this was too choppy, hard to read, and confusing being the reader. I mean, I understand as a writer you understand your piece perfectly, but as a reader we don't have the thoughts and feelings you did when writing so when reading, what we see is what we get, so when writing you need to try to display all thoughts and feelings to make it the least confusing possible. That's the hardest part about writing because when you're writing you don't notice how choppy and how it could possibly be confusing to the readers because I mean, the thoughts just come in your head and flow as you're writing I have problems with this as well. I do really like the idea, though and I'm sorry if me telling you it was confusing for me to read came off as rude, because I did not mean to. I just feel like if you want your readers to connect with your writing and not have to re-read it over and over again until they think they got it, you might have to work on it a bit.

I feel like this story is really emotional and is something a lot of people can relate to, having family in the military. I think it's interesting he's jumpy on Christmas, and the guy he's talking to lost a friend and basically a family member last year while celebrating at the Christmas event last year. I definitely felt emotion while reading this, because you made their emotions sound and feel so strong and I like that a lot because it's relatable and it makes the reader feel like they're there because they feel such strong emotions.
