Very good plot,
You have obviously thought about what you wanted to write and
you're writing is without fault. My only negative comment is that
there isn't enough description of the place nor enough description
of what is happening. You have more than the basic structure, but
you need a bit more to finish it off. I rather liked it though the ending
was a bit abrupt. It may be that you wished for that effect, but maybe
you should make the ending a bit longer. E.g. have her there and then
tell the tale of her her daughter was lost, she runs away from the forest,
and it ends with her staring into the forest after her child or something. Then
again this may be what you wanted with the story, and if so then i find it very
well done.
