I am sorry for your loss, probably many losses. It's never to late to write the letter. Some folks burn them outdoors afterwards and let the smoke rise as to the loved one who is receiving your message. Some folks take balloons and put their letter inside and release it to the heavens. Helium can help the balloons to rise high and fly away into the yonder skies. I'm an old Spiritualist and believe that our loved ones are very close to us, and all you really need to do is set down and tell them how you feel. I believe they hear every word, every thought and know your good intentions toward them. May you be richly blessed. I feel your sadness. Lois

Very sad. This should be given to every young woman along with her engagement ring. I hope you have set your heart free. Lois

You touched my heart with your story, and brought tears to my eyes. I felt as if I were watching the scene unfold before me. I wonder if it is a true story of something you have experienced, or if it is just that, a story. Either way, I enjoyed it.

I was glued to your story from the beginning to the end. I also felt like there could be some reality somewhere with in the paragraphs. After all, technology is moving along so fast, that sometimes it is scary to a degree. I look at it more so as the ending of people directly interacting with each other. We will all be little robots to a degree. I mean, in my own family, it's difficult to hold a conversation because of the constant ringing of the cell phones with their loud agressive ring tones. I realize I am older, and perhaps I have a harder time accepting the changes that come with progress, but in reality, I believe it will always be necessary to have some eye to eye contact that isn't interupted by some electronic device. Personally, I carry a cell phone, but will only use it for an emergency situation. I prefer life. Good story!
