An interesting, thought-provoking piece. It provides cause and effect and a shield to both. For myself, though, this is more of a definition and affirmation. Something I will attribute to limited exposure to various types of poetry. I am involved to the finish, however, as the words and compilation of the same allow a feeling of "this person has experienced life and found a way through" and I found myself nodding in agreement.

I loved this. At first, I was not sure of the flow and then it hit me, it is like a krump dance to read. Krump, from the soul. The only item I would point out is Sunday. I feel a better connection would be made by keeping to the flow set with the previous 4 stanzas. Sunday feels as though a new stanza was started. On the whole, I loved this and hope to see more of your style.
